Outlook has Copilot in some plans, but you do not need it · or a subscription · to get an AI reply. Forward the message to free@forwardloops.com and a polished reply comes back in the same thread, ready to review and send. Here is how in every version of Outlook.

New Outlook and Outlook on the web

  1. Open the email.
  2. Select Forward (the arrow in the message header, or the three-dot menu then Forward).
  3. In To, enter free@forwardloops.com.
  4. On the first line, type a short instruction · for example reply confirming receipt and asking for the invoice number.
  5. Choose Send.

Classic Outlook for Windows and Mac

  1. Click the email, then Forward on the ribbon (or press Ctrl+F on Windows).
  2. Add free@forwardloops.com in the To box.
  3. Type your instruction at the top of the body.
  4. Click Send.

Outlook mobile (iOS and Android)

  1. Open the email and tap the three-dot menu, then Forward.
  2. Enter free@forwardloops.com.
  3. Add your instruction and tap the send arrow.

The first forward from a new address asks you to verify it once · after that, every version works without another step.

Auto-forward with an Outlook rule

To handle recurring emails automatically:

  1. Open Settings then Rules (or Manage Rules and Alerts in classic Outlook).
  2. Add a rule with your condition · a sender or a subject keyword.
  3. Set the action to Forward to and enter free@forwardloops.com.
  4. Save.

Note that some organisations block external auto-forwarding by policy. If yours does, manual forwarding still works. See how to set up an AI auto-reply by email for the details.

FAQ

Do I need a Copilot or Microsoft 365 subscription?

Does the reply stay in the same thread?

Yes. It is threaded back onto the original message.

My company blocks auto-forwarding · can I still use this?
